Verb: “To create a high, shrill, wailing tone like a bagpipe.” (An apt description for the vocal stylings of a number of lawmakers.)

Used in a Sentence: “Elimination of this important program would inevitably lead to widespread hardship and painful skirling.”

  1. I know Huell Howser was a tv perosnality competitor of yours, but isn’t he California enough to be in your websites collage? He wasn’t a political personality but neither was Gumby or that dude from MAD Magazine. I’m just saying, you have plenty of room behind Minerva and Supervisor Milk. I got over him being from Tennesse and all and I think you can too. Love your show, do an episode at UC Irvine or somewhere in SoCal. Thanks.
